ADMIS Celebrates NIBA's 30th Anniversary

30 years ago, I received a cold call from Melinda Schramm that changed the course of my life. She asked if she could take me to lunch and introduce the brand-new National Introducing Broker Association to ADM Investor Services. At Ceres Café, Melinda described the vision for the NIBA and all it would accomplish as a strong and unified group representing the independent voices of the Introducing Broker community. By the end of lunch my only question was “how can we help?” ADM Investor Services joined the NIBA its first year, and I was proud to serve on the NIBA Board of Directors and help shape the early and important impact it had on the futures industry. HighGround Trading Celebrates NIBA's 30th Anniversary

It has been my honor and privilege to be associated with the NIBA throughout the organizations existence. I have interacted with NIBA for the first 18 years as an FCM member and for the last 12 years as the owner of an independent introducing broker. The NIBA has always provided my firm and me personally education in the crucial areas of my business – marketing, compliance, legal, accounting and operations. The NIBA has afforded me the opportunity to network with other industry professionals who face the same industry and professional challenges that I do while at the same time offering a platform and venue to discuss, solve and overcome those challenges. Zaner Congratulates NIBA's 30th Anniversary

Congrats on 30 years! As I look back and think about the past 30 years (and 40 plus for Zaner), wow has the industry changed. There may not be the robust, romantic trading floors anymore, but one thing that has remained constant is the futures industry’s sense of community. I thank NIBA for being an integral part of that. Through all the advocating, networking events and more, I commend NIBA for all its hard work. As we become even more remote (thanks covid) and spread out throughout the country, globally really, it will take even more work to stay connected. High Ridge Futures Congratulates NIBA's 30th Anniversary

Business at High Ridge Futures is continuing at a steady pace. Our focus as a firm is to promote CTAs with profitable performance records and who manage risk with a disciplined approach. We are also in process of creating a new Commodity Pool which will be traded by a CTA we recommend. Covid has changed our audit process as I have been unable to travel. This forced us (and everyone else) to conduct our exams virtually. While I missed seeing everyone in our 17 branches, some good results came from the forced Zoom audits. NIBA 30th Year!! In 1981 I opened an IB with my father and so began my life in the futures industry. Since that time so many things have changed in our space but the constant for me has always been being involved with the IB business and the NIBA since the beginning. My old FCM was the first to join as a representative from an IB who cleared with us was the first President.
